Chester Bennington of Linkin Park Dead at 41

It will be one of the saddest days for Linkin Park fans as Chester Bennington is pronounced dead today at 41 years old. He joined the group and 1999 and the band became a hit as they release their album Hybrid Theory. He also fronted the Stone Temple Pilots from 2013 to 2015.

Chester Bennington Cause of Death

According to police reports they found the body of the 41-year old singer in his private resident in Palos Verdes Estates in Los Angeles County at about 9am Thursday Morning. Based on evidences seen at his house it was concluded that it could have been suicide.

His close friend, Chris Cornell, lead singer of Soundgarden and Audioslave suffered the same death last May. Bennington in fact performed at his funeral as a form of recognition.
