How do you raise your children properly?

As a single dad my first question is, "how do you raise your children properly?" I am an orphan myself so it is indeed very hard for me to actually do it. I do not know what to do. So my basic guide is I would not do to my children the things that I hated when I was young, however, I would certainly make them independent enough. Did it help me? Well...

Well, it did but until now I am still learning. Today, I stumbled upon these images posted by Meddy Bear on Facebook and I think it would help all parents.
