The United States might be experiencing the worst superstorm in its history ever as Superstorm Sandy hits East Coast from Maine to South Carolina.  Mass transport had been cancelled as subways are inundated with water.  Thousands of flights had also been cancelled as the storm continues to move across the United States.

Storm Sandy had already claimed 67 lives in the Caribbean and 51 in haiti as it crossed the region going to the United States.  Is this the story of movies finally being shown in real life?  East Coast citizens are shocked to see their city being underwater for the first time in their entire lives.

A CNN report tells the story of Montgomery Dahm who owns the Tun Tavern in Atlantic City, "I've been down here for about 16 years, and it's shocking what I'm looking at now. It's unbelievable."  This he said while he sees cars and other belongings and even homes being caught literally underwater.

Superstorm Sandy land near Atlantic City at around 8pm Easter.  It had a sustained wind of 80-mph at landfall and increase to around 90mph, Monday.  The hurricane's winds reaped from Cape Cod to the Virginia coast and brought a record breaking high-water records for lower Manhattan.

President Barack Obama cancelled campaign sorties and immediately went back to the White House to address the nation and oversee first hand relief efforts.  On the other side of the campaign trail, Republican Mitt Romney also cancelled campaign sorties and directed efforts on relief and storm operation support.
