United States Needs Bailout or else Faces Economic Meltdown

Just recently President George W. Bush delivered a message to the citizens of the United States explaining the current crisis situation that befall the United States. He is looking at the passage of a S700B bailout package for companies that is in danger of collapsing due to the crisis. "My natural instinct is to oppose government intervention," Bush said. But, "these are not normal circumstances. The market is not functioning properly." McCain and Obama also released a join statement. "Now is our chance to come together to prove that Washington is once again capable of leading this country," the candidates said, calling the Bush proposal "flawed."

In other developments Democracts headed by Democratic Rep. Barney Frank said on Wednesday had reached an agreement to stem one of the worst U.S. financial disasters in decades, and that there would be enough votes to pass the measure and send it to President George W. Bush to sign into law.

Bush also called on both Republican candidate John McCain and Democratic candidate Barack Obama together with other high profile politicians to meet with him at the White House and discuss the issues and solutions to the current financial crisis that the United States is facing.

Interesting still, Forbes had released in its website a picture article on Seven Better Uses for $700 Billion and I recommend checking it out as well.
