Kathryn Bernardo has SPUNK on her lips?

"Kathryn Bernardo has spunk on her lips."  Can you read that again for me, please?  Did the ad just say that she has "SPUNK" on her lips? This advertisement featuring Kathryn Bernardo is getting viral because of a word that seems to be misinterpreted by many - SPUNK.  What does spunk mean anyway?

Spunk Definition

According to the dictionary the proper and normal meaning of the word spunk pertains to something very positive, which in the ad seems to be appropriate.

Spunk is defined as courage or the ability to carry on with good cheer and a strong heart. When you are having a tough time learning to do something but you persist and keep coming back and trying again, this is an example of when you show spunk. - http://websters.yourdictionary.com/spunk

When you search on Google it clearly defines what this advertisement means.

Why is the advertisement "spunk on her lips" improper?

The word spunk is not usually used to refer to courage or bravery because it's more popular use refers to something that is very vulgar - SEMEN.

For many, this advertisement would mean that Kathryn Bernardo has semen on her lips which is, of course, something that the Kathryn herself does not want to have.  This is clearly a wrong choice of word and synonym to emphasize that she has the courage or that the lipstick is something that compliments a woman.
