The Last Airbender 2: Legend of Korra Trailer
So you think The Last Airbender animated series is done? Well, think again because come 2012, Nickelodeon will air the sequel to The Last Airbender: The Legend of Aang and it is titled, The Last Airbender: Legend of Korra. The initial teaser trailer was shown in the recently concluded San Diego Comic Con 2011.
The plot will cover a new revolution against airbenders that is happening in the United Republic. United Republic is a city which Aang and Zuko established. The story is set 70 years after Aang and the main protagonist of the series, is the next incarnation of the Avatar after Aang from the original series.
Korra, will be a female avatar and will even be trained in airbending by Tenzin, the youngest and only airbender of Aang and Katara's three children.
Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko are the creators of The Last Airbender 2: Legend of Korra. This new animated series plans to follow Korra as she learns Airbending while facing an anti-bender revolution.
