American Idol Season 10 Reveals New Judges; Check Out Audition Dates

American Idol Season 10 will premier January 12, 2011 on Fox and will now open audition for the first time for teenagers aged 15. American Idol Season 10 will also have two new judges after Ellen Degeneres, Simon Cowell and then just recently Kara DioGuardi left the judges panel of AI.

Ellen DeGeneres resigned because she felt that it was not her calling to really be an Idol judge. Simon Cowell meanwhile express early on American Idol Season 9 that he wants to venture into other productions. Lastly, Kara DioGuardi was rumored to have been fired by American Idol management, this was revealed by TMZ.

So who are the two new judges for American Idol Season 10?

Well, first of Jennifer Lopez had just signed a contract with American Idol to become the judge of American Idol Season 10. JLO's manager Benny Medina brokered the negotiation with American Idol producers.


The second new American Idol judge is Steven Tyler, the lead vocalist for rock band Aerosmith. Tyler is also an actor, songwriter and multi-instumentalist. Tyler was ranked 99th on the Rolling Stone's 100 greatest singers, and is also is also ranked 3rd on Hit Parader's Top 100 Metal Vocalists of All Time.

Of course the third judge would be the only staying American Idol judge, Randy Jackson. Expect something new on American Idol Season 10, new judges means new possibilities.
