Yahoo Snobs US$44B Microsoft Offer
Microsoft could be very disappointed as Yahoo snubs it multi-billion peso offer for the leading search engine, Yahoo. The board of directors of Yahoo decided to shun the offer of the leading IT firm after they say that the offer is untimely.
Yahoo's profits had declined and about US$20 billion in loss had been suffered by stockholders for a sudden decline many allege is caused by mismanagement of the firm. This is one of the reasons the IT gian jump in to offer the firm a huge amount as compared to its current stock listing of US$29.
