Scam Updates: Potential Event Scams
As part of our blogs Public Service commitment we are posting this reminder to everyone to be watchful and careful of joining events particularly international events.
Many scams invite people to register for a youth conference, and intend only to collect registration fees. Please beware and only pay fees when you are certain it is a legitimate event. Common schemes include events taking place both in the USA and other countries.
• National Youth Action Network Organization International conference taking place 1st to 7th of March, 2008 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
• Joan Kroc Foundation “International Conference of NGOs” taking place the 10th to the 20th of February, 2008 in London, UK.
