Microsoft's Pending Yahoo Takeover, Another Monopolistic Approach?

Microsoft seems eying a hostile takeover of number 1 search engine and website, Yahoo! Is this another part of Microsoft's grand plan to monopolize another industry and put the money in its coffers?

After Yahoo turned down the Microsoft offer of around US$40 Billion, the software giant is threatening to go way beyond by unsitting the 10-member Board of Directors of Yahoo, including its founder.

Yahoo had also receive seven lawsuits from its stakeholders siting various reasons including mismanagement and some about the recent bid of Microsoft.

If Microsoft succeeds they with get even with a strong competitor in the online ad market Google which their own MSN network fails to defeat for a very long time. The takeover will also add another strong industry position to Bill Gate's coffers.
