Philippines Featured in WikiLeaks.org

Latest documents of the famous website, WikiLeaks.org had mentioned the Philippines and a possible Uranium material capable of creating nuclear bombs found in the country. The said Uranium was found by some divers and was allegedly being sold in the market for the highest bidder.

The United States and the Philippines Department of National Defense refused to comment on the issue saying that they have no direct intelligence report or information about this yet. However, Bayan Muna, a progressive group said that the Philippine government should take the issue seriously and launch an investigation.

WikiLeaks.org had been criticized by the United States and other countries for surfacing classified documents on the war on terror and details about Iraq and Afghanistan. Julian Asangge, WikiLeaks founder had also been imprisoned for various allegations as well.
