Pakistan and India Conducts Nuclear Capable Missile Tests

Written By David D'Angelo on Thursday, April 26, 2012 | 4/26/2012

While the world is focused on the missile launch of North Korea, both Pakistan and India have respectively made successful tests of their ballistic missiles.  Pakistan's  Hatf-IV Shaheen-1A missile and India's  first intercontinental ballistic missile had been both a success.

The Hatf-IV Shaheen-1A missile is capable of carrying both nuclear and conventional warheads while that of India is capable also of nuclear armament and has a range of 5,000 kilometers.  India and Pakistan had been enemies of war but recently they had been very good trading partners.

Asked about the latest development, India's government said, "As far as India is concerned, and looking at it from Delhi, we are not at all concerned about this development,"
