Charlie Davao Succumbs to Colon Cancer - Philippine actor Charlie Davao succumbs to colon cancer today at the Philippine General Hospital. He died at about 11:30 in the morning today.

Charlie Davao is the father of actor Ricky Davao. Davao had been a very professional and veteran actor who will always be remembered for his character roles in movies and television.

Close friends of Charlie Davao, Tirso Cruz III and Rep. Lani Mercano confirmed the passing away of the actor.
