Twilight Saga: Eclipse Reviews as of the moment are mixed. The battle between Team Edward and Team Jacob also rages on as fans take sides in this third installment to Stephanie Mayer's novel Twilight. We are also inviting those who have already watched the movie to share us their thoughts.

Generally reviewers of the film gave Eclipse a passing grade of above 50% that including Rotten Tomatoes and Metacritic, two of the most reliable online review sites. Rotten tomatoes gave Twilight Saga: Eclipse, 5.6/10 while Metacritic gave it 58/100.

Most of the comments when Twilight Saga began still persists reviewers said including the lack of energy and too much chat and talks within the film. It seems it is more about discussion and talking than actual action.

There were positive reviews for Twilight Eclipse too. "The person who should be worried is Bill Condon, the director tapped for the two-part finale, Breaking Dawn. He's got a real challenge to make movies as good as Eclipse," one review says.

The Hollywood Reporter said that this film nails it while The New York times calls it funny and better than it's predecessors. Betsey Sharkey of the Los Angeles Times gave the movie 4.5/5 rating saying, "Eclipse eclipses its predecessors.

"Too chatty and too long," that was one of the comments of Roger Moore of the Orlando Sentinel giving the film 3.5/5 stars.

Meanwhile, Wesley Morris of Boston Globe says, "...the second and third film repeat that discovery in Twilight without truly deepening it...the movies are interesting without ever being good."

Roger Moore of the Orlando Sentinel gave the film 3.5 out of 5 stars, stating, "The dullness of the performances really stands out when somebody like [Bryce Dallas Howard], or Anna Kendrick turn up and liven up their scenes." While calling the film "too chatty and too long", he did compliment David Slade's directing and noted that the movie will please the fans.[73] Michael Phillips of the Chicago Tribune gave the film 2 out of 5 stars, stating that David Slade's pacing is "everything like molasses running uphill". He also criticized the characters, the actors portraying them, the big close-ups of hand-held devices, and called Howard Shore's score "gunk".[74] Wesley Morris from the Boston Globe stated, "If the first two movies were "get a room," part three is "get a therapist". He said the second and third film "repeat that discovery [in Twilight] without truly deepening it...the movies are interesting without ever being good."[75]

Another review goes way beyond and said that Twilight Eclipse was "just monstrously bad". The review further said, "Eclipse leaves the sputtering story arc in idle, with only an uneasy truce between the vampire and werewolf clans amounting to anything new."

Seems like very mixed reviews indeed. What about those who have already watched the movie? What do you think of Twilight Saga: Eclipse? Was it good or was it bad? Share us your thoughts.
