Movie Cinco Raises Philippine Horror to the next level (with Video Trailer)


There are all but praises for the newest horror movie on Philippine cinema entitled Cinco. Cinco is an episodic movie which is composed of five horror flicks. Each flick has its own separate story and is also directed by different directors.

Cinco already earned P11 million on its opening day, July 14. The nationwide blackout could have been one of the major contributor to the earnings but more of it is because the film is really topnotch.

Star Cinema who produced and distributes the film says that there is already an scheduled international screening in Guam (Micronesia Mall) from July 23 to August 5, 2010.

Despite the Luzon-wide blackout caused by typhoon Basyang, Cinco grossed P11 million on its opening day last July 14. This is based on a report from the film's producer, Star Cinema. It will have an international screening in Guam (Micronesia Mall) from July 23 to August 5, 2010.


"Matatawa, maiiyak at matatakot kayong lahat.. Hindi po advisable panoorin mag-isa, kaya, make sure na may kasama kayong manood ng sine para mas masaya." (You will laugh, cry and be afraid... the movie is not advisable to be watched alone, bring a companion so that you will enjoy the film.), says Director Frasco Mortiz of the episode "Braso"



Cinco is divided into the following episodes:

Episode 1 – “Braso” starring Robi Domingo, AJ Perez and Sam Concepcion
Episode 2 – “Paa” starring Jodie Sta. Maria
Episode 3 – “Mata” starring Rayver Cruz and Maja Salvador
Episode 4 – “Mukha” starring Mariel Rodriguez
Episode 5 – “Puso” starring Pokwang and Zanjoe Marudo
