Blizzard Officially Released Starcraft 2: Wings of Liberty

Blizzard has officially released the long awaited sequel of Starcraft, Starcraft II: Wings of Liberty. Fans of the game had waited for 12 years for the sequel to finally be released and once again enjoy another chapter of the Starcraft storyline.

The released version of Startcraft II: Wings of Liberty is officially released across various platforms including Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X. The release this time will be divided into three parts.

Blizzard just released the first part, Starcraft 2: Wings of Liberty which includes the Terran Campaign starring Jim Raynor. The next releases will be expansion packs which contains the Zerg campaign, Heart of the Swarm; and a Protoss campaign, Legacy of the Void.


 The story line of Starcraft 2 is set four years after the events of StarCraft: Brood War, and follow the exploits of Jim Raynor as he leads an insurgent group against the autocratic Terran Dominion. The game includes old characters from the original game, as well as introduce new characters and locations to the franchise.
Starcraft 2: Wings of Liberty also gives more focus on multiplayer game and puts enancement in gaming. There are units now which can traverse through varying terrains, some old units are making a comeback, some of them are improved and others are totally removed.

Fans of single player campaign for the Terran in WIngs of Liberty will also be happy to see a new Starcraft briefing room. This time players will be able to see an interactive version of the battlecruiser Hyperion, with Jim Raynor.

There are tons of new enhancements plus a more challenging single player campaign. The storyline of Starcraft gets really exiting so there would definitely be lots of gamers playing this game and loved it like they have loved the first one.
