The Asus’ VG236H 3D Monitor is a 23.6″ LCD display with Full HD resolution and is capable of working at 120Hz. The model was first unveiled during COMPUTEX 2009 and will not be available in markets worldwide including the Philippines.
The newest ASUS 3D monitor (besides the largest ASUS monitor ever, PG276H 27-Inch Full HD 3D Monitor) features the Twisted Nematic panel technology with maximum resolution of 1920×1080 at 120Hz refresh rate. The monitor also features a 2Wx2 Stereo speakers which makes it ideal for presentations as well.
Besides the speakers it is also an ideal extension monitor featuring a wide array of connectivity including HDMI, DVI-D (Dual-Link), D-Sub, Audio-In Jack, S/PDIF Audio output, and Earphone Jack.
The Asus’ VG236H 120Hz LCD Monitor will be available at various ASUS outlets and display centers by the end of this month and would probably cost just enough for those who want to experience 3D movies and experience 3D gaming.
Meanwhile the NVIDIA 3D vision that comes with it use wireless IR protocol and can be charged from a USB cable, allowing around 20 hours of continous use. The wireless emitter connects to the USB port and interfaces with the underlying driver software.
