Angelina Jolie Fulfills Dream in SALT
Angelina Jolie says she wanted to be James Bond and in fact that was her reply when she was asked by the producers of James Bond 007 to be one of the spy masters girls. "No, thank you, but I'd like to be Bond," says Jolie.
Angelina Jolie plays the role of Evelyn Salt, a CIA agent who is accused of being a KGB sleeper agent, and goes on the run to try to clear her name. The accusation all started when a Russian defector, Orlov (Olbrychski) involve her in a supposed plot to kill the President of the United States.
It was a different role for Angelina Jolie which could have finally found her very own James Bond. The original role however was fitted for Tom Cruise, however the the script was ultimately rewritten for Jolie.
