Goodbye American Idol for Simon Cowell
Simon Cowell had been one of the biggest stars of American Idol and were in most cases the judge that made American Idol thrilling and exciting to watch.
Earlier, Paula Abdul had also left the show and was replaced by Ellen DeGeneres.
"I was offered a lot of money to stay on," Cowell said. "But that wasn't the reason behind it. I wanted to do something different. I wanted a new challenge."
Analysts says that audience share of American Idol will definitely decline next Season but they also say that it will still be a very formidable and interesting show.
