Tropical Depression "PEPENG" continues to traverse Northern Luzon.

Location of Center: (as of 10:00 p.m.) in the vicinity of Mountain Province
Coordinates: 17.1°N, 121.2°E
Strength: Maximum sustained winds of 55 kph near center
Movement:  Forecast to move West slowly
Forecast Positions/Outlook:
  • Friday evening:  70 km South Southwest of Vigan City or  80 km Northwest of Baguio City
  • Saturday evening:  210 km West Southwest of Vigan City or  220 km West Northwest of Baguio City
  • Sunday evening:  430 km West Southwest of Vigan or  440 km West Northwest of Baguio City

                Residents in low-lying areas and near mountain slopes under signal #1 are advised to take all the necessary precautionary measures against flashfloods and landslides.

                Meanwhile, the Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated at 1,860 kms East of Luzon (16.9°N, 142.3°E).

                The public and the disaster coordinating councils concerned are advised to take appropriate actions and watch for the next bulletin to be issued at 5 A.M. tomorrow.

                sana bago man lang sumapit ang kapaskohan ay humupa na ang tubig-baha na dulot ng bagyong ondoy,pepeng para naman kahit papaano ay maging masaya ating mga kababayan lalo na yung mga maliliit na kabataan.

                That is the same wish I have but moreover there should be long term plans to prevent this from happening again. It should be more than just relief good but solutions.
