"Please Save My Earth," it seems this anime has more to its title because it is simply the deepest desire of every person on Earth now living. Most of us are worried about what will happen to our Earth and we want to help and make it better. Let us do what we can and contribute to save our Earth and to those who do not mind, please save my Earth.

The video above is also the official opening of Please Save My Earth (Boku no Chikyū o Mamotte?) sometimes abbreviated Bokutama, a shōjo science fiction manga by Saki Hiwatari. It was published by Hakusensha from 1987 to 1994 in Hana to Yume and collected in 21 tankōbon volumes. The series was adapted as a six-part anime OVA in 1993. It is about seven teenagers who share common dreams about their past lives as alien scientists who observed the Earth from the Moon. Both the anime OVA and manga are licensed for distribution in North America by Viz Media.

A sequel manga, Boku o Tsutsumu Tsuki no Hikari (The Moonlight That Embraces Me), is currently being serialized in the bimonthly Hana to Yume as well as the special edition magazine, Hana to Yume Plus.

I will be watching this anime for sure. Thanks for my love for the planet that I discovered this great anime.
