Blog Action 350: Global Warming Swindle Is it True?

Written By David D'Angelo on Saturday, October 24, 2009 | 10/24/2009

Some says it is a fake and there is a so called "Global Warming Swindle" that is ongoing. For me the biggest swindle is this documentary. The evidence is felt and it is happening. Whether it is caused by us or whether it is caused by increasing activity in the sun there is Climate Change and we should act on it now. What is wrong with using more renewable and energy efficient devices? What is wrong with living a healthier life? I think that there are those people who just can't accept what is happening and it might be too late before they themselves accept it.

The Swindle of the Global Warming Swindle

350.org says:

The science is clear: global warming is happening faster than ever and humans are responsible. Global warming is caused by releasing what are called greenhouse gases into the atmosphere. The most common greenhouse gas is carbon dioxide. Many of the activities we do every day like turn the lights on, cook food, or heat or cool our homes rely on energy sources like coal and oil that emit carbon dioxide and other heat-trapping gases. This is a major problem because global warming destabilizes the delicate balance that makes life on this planet possible. Just a few degrees in temperature can completely change the world as we know it, and threaten the lives of millions of people around the world.

I greatly agree with this. Another film and documentary HOME even says that if the ice caps melt there is a danger of releasing methane into the atmosphere. Methane that is 130x more than the atmospheres required level.

350.org - In every corner of the globe...

Are we being swindled to do good and save our environment and trees? Are we being swindled to make our earth better? If that is a swindle then I don't mind as long as I will have a home for my family and for the future generations.

Today, I join many others around the world in the global 350 Advocacy and on the Global Day of Climate Action. I am standing up for a leader that is pro-environment and can help us better prepare for Climate Change.

We can all make a difference and one of the ways is TO VOTE FOR A GREEN PRESIDENT and FOR GREEN CANDIDATES in 2010.

Your action is beneficial for our planet. The evidence is clear...
