World of Warcraft Movie Hits the Big Screen and Movie Theaters

During Blizzcon 2007 Blizzard Entertainment and Legendary Pictures unveiled the plans for a live action movie of the successful video game World of Warcraft. Since that time of the very long press conference everyone anticipated for this upcoming movie and now World of Warcraft hits movie theaters soon. The latest on the development reports is that Sam Raimi has signed on to direct "Warcraft," the live-action film adaptation of the fantasy videogame franchise "World of Warcraft."

Variety states that the plan is for Raimi to supervise development of “Warcraft” and shoot the picture after he completes work on "Spider-Man 4," which gets under way early next year for Columbia Pictures.

So when will we be seeing the movie in the big screen? Well it will be probably be by early 2011. So brace yourself gamers out there for your long wait is soon to be over.
