The New7Wonders of Nature committee and website had finally revealed the list of 28 finalist for the Search for the New 7 Wonders of Nature. Among the well known contenders were Amazon River, Great Barrier Reef, Grand Canyon at Galapagos Island, Dead Sea and Mt. Kilimanjaro. The Philippines' entry to the New 7 Wonders of Nature, Puerto Princesa Subterranean River is also included in the finalist.
