"Because of the youth volunteer services, we are looking forward to a new future with human thinking" - IAVE Youth Forum

The International Association for Volunteer Effort (IAVE) is preparing for the 12th IAVE Asia-Pacific Regional Volunteer Conference to be held in Kaoshiung, Taiwan, this coming November 26-29, 2009. More specifically, a YOUTH FORUM will be held in Kaohsiung County on Nov. 28. The theme for this years forum is 'Volunteerism as a lifestyle for social solidarity'

This is an exciting event for Kaohsiung City citizens as well as for Taiwan people.

The International Association for Volunteer Effort (IAVE) was founded in 1970 by a group of volunteers from around the world who saw in volunteering a means of making connections across countries and cultures. It has grown into a global network of volunteers, volunteer organisations, national representatives and volunteer centres, with members in over 70 countries, and in all world regions. The majority of IAVE members are in developing countries.
