WCYF Endorses the Walk for Peace for Children
On March 15, 2009 let us all join and walk for peace and non-violence.This Walk for Peace for Children project as organized by Jean and Virlanie Foundation is a call for all nations to promote peace and to protect the rights of the children against non-violence.
Highlighting the same advocacy on human rights education, non-violence and peace education, the World Creative Youth Forum Committee and Organizers fully supports the Walk for Peace for Children.
The World Creative Youth Forum, which will be held on May 5-10 2009, is an international Youth Forum endorsed by UNESCO, which focuses on Education for Sustainable Development.
WCYF is also calling for other sectors to support and be part of this event. It’s a date, on March 15, 2009, Sunday 7 am at the Luneta Park. Let us all be advocates for peace and non-violence.
