What should movie goers like us watch for and behold in 2008. I have scanned some websites and come with some of the movies to watch.

To start with most probable in 2008 we will see more of the remakes, sequels and new superheroes to premiere in the big screen. Superheroes like The Flash, Iron Man, Incredible Hulk, The Dark Knight and remakes like Footloose and Hellraised plus sequels like Rambo and Indiana Jones.

Zac Efron from the movie High School musical will be playing the main character of the 1984 movie Footloose starring Kevin Bacon which will be getting a remake this 2008. Hopefully he can dance like Kevin does in the movie. It was rumored that this is one of the most expensive remakes. Another one that is getting a remake in 2008 is the original Hellraiser.

One Missed Call, the movie originally a Japanese Horror is getting an English remake. Edward Burns and Shannyn Sossamon are some of the casts. What will it sound like when you die? In "One Missed Call," a chain of people receive terrifying cell phone messages of their own final fatal moments.

Another movie which might earn the ire of the United States is, "Taxi to the Dark Side" coming January 18th. The movie depicts the persecution of an innocent taxi driver in Afghanistan is used to exemplify torture practices used by the United States in Afghanistan, Iraq, and Guantanamo Bay.

Johny Rambo will also be hitting the theaters on January 25th. In Thailand, John Rambo (Stallone) assembles a group of mercenaries and leads them up the Salween River to a Burmese village after hearing that a group of aid workers he assisted have gone missing.

X-Files is also coming up in theaters on July 2008 with a still yet untitled movie that rumors has it that it is a stand alone story. The question though is will this movie be outsmarting the previous X-Files movie? Another sequel this 2008 is The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor featuring Brendan Fraser, Jet Li, and Maria Bello.

When the world is overrun by the flesh hungry dead a small group of survivors head to an underground military bunker in a last ditch effort to stay alive then you are talking about Day of the Dead. This horror movie about walking zombies is another horror flick to watch in 2008.
