Chinese Embassy accepts Senator Miriam Defensor - Santiago's Apology

The Chinese ambassador to the Philippines has accepted the apology of Sen. Miriam Defensor-Santiago for saying the "Chinese invented corruption for all human civilization” during a public hearing at the Senate on the allegedly overpriced $329-million national broadband network (NBN) project between the government and ZTE Corp. of China.
Santiago wrote the ambassador to apologize for whatever offense she caused with her remarks.
Many Chinese and critics have alleged that her remarks were "racist". Federation of Filipino-Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry Inc. (FFCCCII) protested Senator Miriam Defensor-Santiago’s anti-Chinese remarks.

Senator Santiago has the criteria of a good senator but her intense attitude and tantrum sometimes she becomes careless.
